What a best friend means to me...
A best friend is someone who would always be on my side
No matter how convincing the other side of the story is
A best friend is someone who will lie for me
Even if it's just about my height (I'm not short! Just vertically challenged)
A best friend is someone who will take her time off her busy schedule
just to go on a shopping spree with me
A best friend is someone who I can rely on telling me the truth
No matter how painful it may seem
A best friend is someone who I can have sleep overs with
And drool over the best movies (e.g. ones with good looking lead actors)
A best friend is someone who will tell me who's talking behind my back
Even if she has promised the back-stabber that she wouldn't tell a soul
A best friend is someone who will watch my back
To make sure that no one has the chance to hurt me
(And to make sure I have a good posture)
A best friend is someone who will devour ice cream with you when you're
feeling down/upset/depressed
Even if she has run a mile to work it off later
Or she might not :)
A best friend is someone who will stick up for you when rumours fly
Even though you both know that they may be somewhat true
A best friend is someone who will leave lots of her good belongings to me in
her will
Of course if she ever does pass on, I shall grieve for days
And will have to treat myself to a vacation in Hawaii with Orlando Bloom for
weeks
A best friend is someone who will smile and think that this is a masterpiece
Even though it may be slightly cheesy and dull
Will say so to make the author happy
