I like birthdays. Cakes are good.

Boy, has time flown by.

Only two more days before I head back to Klang.

I need to ask Kelvin to fetch me from the airport to Klang. I hope he's not busy and wouldn't mind. Of course I'll pay him. Unless he's like Ivan, who nearly kicked me out of his car when I tried to pay (thank God, we were already at the airport, so if he ever did kick me out, it wouldn't be that bad. On second thoughts, think of all the good-looking guys who notice me being kicked out of a car... not a very good image, is it?)

I'll buy him something. A gift.

Dang!! I hate buying gifts for the male species.

It's either we have to get something high-techy which costs like a LOT, or something simple and not as high-tech which does not cost as much plus him trying to convince you that he “loves” it for hours.

Ngeh!

Anyway, it was dad’s birthday today. It’s also Ming Heng’s.

So I won’t forget his birthday in a hurry. Since it was Heng2’s birthday, there was a surprise party for him in Buccaneer Restaurant, all planned by his lovely girlfriend Alex Wong.

Sharon came by after her practical exam in her uniform at about 10.30am (I would love to agonize about how early I had to wake up but that would take up a lot of precious time which I no longer have. Whoopie.)

Roger Ee drove. Khee Vun was in the passenger seat while Sharon and I sat at the back.

We had nothing much to do until 11.30am which Khee Vun has to be dropped off in their school (my ex school) so that Chad can drive him home. They would then head to Buccaneer together.

We just hung out in the car while Roger drove about but mostly we were driving around Sayyidina Ali.

Eugene, a lower six former, happened to be standing out waiting. I saw him a few times before. He’s kinda… cute. Fair (Ugh) and tall (Yum)

Plus he plays basketball. He looks like a good player. I don’t know how I can tell but he seems quite confident of himself. Not in an arrogant way but there’s an air of confidence. Not as killing as Sky’s though.

Not seeing Sky for two weeks really dampens his effects on me. Wait till I see him again. I wonder if he’ll spark my interest again.

Sharon says he looks like an Asian version of Cloud from FF7 the movie. Did I mention that before? Well, who cares if I did.

Sky… Cloud… Rain… is it me or is there a pattern?

Anywayz, back to me and my blahs.

Khee Vun bought us ice cream. He’s super nice. He’s like William, one of Pharmacy coursemates.

I always say that even if you run over him, he’ll still grin and say, “it’s okay. I’m fine.”

He’s just soooooooo nice that you just can help but be nice back.

I’m going off track again.

Roger Ee is quite quiet but I dig his deep voice. He sounds very manly.

I did find it surprising that he has the exact same mobile phone as my ex boyfriend who’s also called Roger.

*Shocked*

We picked up Jen Hong and dropped Khee Vun off.

Jen Hong is still cute but I dunno, I don’t find him as pretty as I used to. Oh well. I guess it’s just me. Things don’t last much with me.

Jen Hong and Roger Ee are so cute together. Their conversations are very interesting and entertaining.

Roger Ee is so different from my ex. He has a “I-don’t-give-a-damm-about-my-money” attitude… So different from Roger who’s quite tight with his.

Actually Roger.E has a “couldn’t-really-be-bothered” attitude towards almost everything. He’s a real laid back character.

Ngeh!!

I haven’t gotten to the good parts of the story and already almost half an hour is gone.

Hate how time flies by so fast.

So annoying.

We got the cake and unfortunately, it started to rain heavily so we had to make a quick dash to Buccaneer. We were supposed to be there before 12 noon and I think we were slightly late but we were still the earliest.

How annoying.

Anyway, it took a while before Yau Yang, Chad, Jeffrey, Yong Sheng came. No sign of birthday boy or Alex for a while.

Actually, for over quite a while.

Jeffrey was starved and anxious by the time that they did arrive. Oh, he’s probably been reading my blog for months without me knowing but I don’t really care. I have nothing against him.

Ming Heng was surprised to see me back in Brunei.

He doesn’t know I was back?

Ngeh. Must announce to the whole of Brunei next time.

It’s a small country. Word gets around.

Jen Hong sat next to me, while Sharon semi-sat at one end until she couldn’t take much of standing up to allow people past her and sat next to me.

Sharon said that Jen Hong always smells nice. I didn’t get a chance to smell him though.

I’m sure he, being Jen Hong, would smell lovely though.

After the delightful lunch, (Do Not Eat the Buffet!!) we headed to ODGC. Don’t ask what it stands for, I’m sure all of us wouldn’t know. Oil Drilling Gas Company maybe??

It’s in Seria, the sleepy town where oil spurts out like nothing.

Yau Yang talked to me. The last time he talked to me was… in 2003 or early last year. I still haven’t gotten used to the fact that he’s sort of related to me.

It was raining REALLY heavily by the time we got there.

Jeffrey isn’t really good at holding the umbrella. Maybe it’s because I keep grabbing it from him.

Chad was a lot better. He probably practices at home.

After that, we headed to Ryan’s house. Alex, Ming Heng and Chad left early though.

I watched Jeff, Roger, Ryan and Sharon play Lami.

It sounds kinda cute. Like a baby whale’s name.

I dunno where that came from but it sounds so cute. If I ever get a baby whale, I would name is Lami.

Yong Sheng and Yau Yang played PS1 while they played Lami.

Sharon had to get back by 6pm and I had to get a cake for daddy so Roger took Jeff home first and then took us to Mum’s bakery to get a cake.

Oh, we saw Yin Shun there. He’s working there!! Haven’t seen him a while. He doesn’t look that attractive anymore. I wonder why. Are my tastes changing?? *mortified*

I feel a little guilty about Roger having to drive us everywhere but he doesn’t seem to mind a bit. He’s nice. Plus he has a nice deep voice  =)

Oh, I think Sam is cute. Well, from about ten feet away and me without any eye aid. Hmm… do you think I should take a better look at him before deciding?

Oh, why the hell am I older than a lot of the lads today? Only Khee Vun is older.

Ngeh.

I’m exhausted. I don’t know if Sharon and Alex will pop by tomorrow or not. Oh wait, it’s Friday already.

I haven’t finished my chem tutorials yet. ARGHH!!

I really wasted these two weeks. I guess it’s time to pick myself up and get started again. It’s never too late. I should put more effort in it.

I get so lazy but now I motivate myself by telling myself that I need to help others, so I had to have knowledge equipped.

I really want to help Ivy. She’s a real darling. I want her to come to Australia with me. I’ll help her with her Communication in BioSciences.

She has a few problems and confide in me. I don’t know why but I feel like I want to protect and help her.

I already asked Ivan like five times if I could adopt her.

He didn’t mind at all.
